You've
finally found me! I'm glad ya'll made it.
Now have fun,
and see if you can spot yourself in any of my pictures, or if any of your entries
made the 80s FAVES LISTS.
For those of you who don't know me, prepare to only get a sampling of what I
am all about as you explore my site! I have done so many things and gone so
many places that even I don't remember them all. (Take that any way you
want!)
I try to live life to the fullest, and have been fortunate enough to earn a
living doing things I love. How many people can say that? My family means the
world to me, and I've always taken pride in the fact that my father knew from
the time he was a boy what he wanted to do, and he did it with passion, vigor
and enthusiasm until the day he died.
Ironically, we chose the same fields: sports and media.
I
currently coach with a USA Swimming team in Kingwood, Texas named BLUE
TIDE AQUATICS, . I have also coached for such teams as Rice University,
Bayou Elite, Alief Aquatic Club, and Stanford University Swim Camp, and was
also the Swimming pro at River Oaks Country Club. Additionally, I work as an
actress and DJ, doing commercials, TV and film. You might have seen me in the
movie "Suburbia," or heard me on the air in Houston or Austin as Disc
Jockey "Kacie Quinn" or "Prebble Quinn."
Wanna hear some of my work? My agency has me on their site: QUAID
TALENT. Just press play! FLASH: Quaid Talent has been absorbed by Williams
Talent/Millenia Models. Stay tuned for new website info.
Don't know what I look like and who to look for?
Check out my best ever HEADSHOT or
my other FAVORITE PIX.
So, you can see I am pretty diverse, but I like it that way. And, as you've
probably guessed, my interests are as varied as my occupations! I am also a
writer and have had several of my works included in anthologies. My first book,
Eleven Twenty-Five, was published
in December 1999. It is a collection of prose from the 1989-99. For some samples
of work included in Eleven Twenty-Five, you can go to my PROSE AND POETRY PAGE.
As a life-long swimmer and coach, I am also very involved in the swimming world.
This is why I have decided to add my own page dedicated to SWIMMING AND COACHING
news, links and information.
And... for all you wild children of the 80's, my RETRO RAGE PAGES
are the place to go.
Turn back time and return to the age of "Just Say Yes!" with a site
dedicated to your 80's favorites from Music to Movies and TV, Fashion and Language.
E-mail me if you have any ideas or
submissions.
Some odds and ends? I truly have a thing for alligators and kittens, and used to have a strange affinity for piranhas... guess I enjoyed that stupid 70's movie a little too much! Oh... and remember Humanoids from the Deep? I LOVED that one for some unknown reason... I collect Nagels (as in Patrick Nagel, a habit that I think was acquired from a guy I dated in the late 80's), love Escher, perfumes, and shoes.... sadly I have too many to count. I enjoy the work of David McEnery and his photos of kittens, like the one at right, and am a huge fan of Rodrigue and Blue Dog. I discovered him in New Orleans. |
